The Crate Escape: Belgium Bound

Truly embarking on a journey of epic proportions like we were born to do it.

In the world of freight brokerage, some shipments stand out more than others. With dimensions of 18’ long, 16’2” wide, 11’4” tall, and 51,000 lbs., this colossal crate couldn’t be missed when rolling down the road!In the world of freight brokerage, some shipments stand out more than others. With dimensions of 18’ long, 16’2” wide, 11’4” tall, and 51,000 lbs., this colossal crate couldn’t be missed when rolling down the road!

From the heartland of IN to the seaport in MD, the super load had an entourage of police escorts throughout the route.  With our customer's timeline at the upmost priority, the ZMac team was all hands on deck ensuring adequate permit turnaround times were being met, state troopers were perfectly aligned to take the baton at city/state lines, and tracked each and every mile until the crate met the ship that was taking it Belgium bound! Maryland state police were even required to pass the baton to city police at city limits just to be led into the port, which made the convoy’s entrance nothing short of grand.

This exemplifies not just our commitment to you on the road, but our capabilities to excellence in navigating all the complexities of moving specialized equipment through seaport logistics.
