Generators to Kentucky

Thirteen loads containing generator sets, switch gears, and enclosures were hauled from Illinois to Ohio before making their final journey to Kentucky. The loads varied in length, width, height, and weight from 20 feet long, 16 feet 8 inches wide, 12 feet 4 inches high, and 42,800 pounds to 40 feet long, 12 feet 9 inches wide, 14 feet high, and 25, 500 pounds.

These loads called for one of our expert sales representatives to orchestrate the necessary route surveys and fifteen vehicle convoy consisting of: civilian escorts, police escorts, pole cars, and bucket trucks, to ensure the load arrives safely and on schedule.

On the first leg of their journey the generator sets, switch gears, and enclosures headed to Ohio for specialized testing. Then all thirteen loads are hauled from Ohio to Kentucky where they will be used in special projects on a federal government site.
