Introducing The ZMac Elite Sales Class of Spring 2018

Zmac - 2018 Elite Sales Graduation

Meet Our Spring 2018 Elite Sales Class

It is with great pleasure that we officially congratulate our Spring 2018 ZMac Elite Sales Team. This extraordinary group triumphed at learning the ever-changing world of OD transportation logistics. They set new standards for excellence during our 3-month in-depth training program. And now it is time for them to spread their wings and officially become members of ZMac Elite Sales. Like any proud parent of a star pupil, we can’t help but get a little misty-eyed.

So, with tissue in hand, please welcome our newest ZMac Elite Sales Spring 2018 class.

Amanda Anderson

Who is Amanda Anderson? Well, I’m 34. Single. No kids. Born in MN and moved to Racine when I was 2 and NEVER left. And I’m also a Vikings fan (sorry, not sorry). So… you could say I have a lot going for me right now. Just kidding, I love my life!

I have one (fur) kid, Gus. He is a 100-pound black lab whose entire life is a giant game of hot lava. I just started coaching volleyball at a new club in town, Epic Volleyball, with one of my four older brothers. Yes, I am the only girl and the youngest. In fact, you should ask Dave how protective my brothers are (to this day, they still talk it). Growing up, my brothers and I were always outside playing volleyball, swimming, and causing general mayhem. And my mom, bless her heart, made sure we were never even close to hungry. I credit my childhood for my love of the outdoors. You can find me doing everything outside, from playing golf to running (I’m doing two half marathons and a triathlon this year!) to reading and spending time with my boyfriend, Nick. Sales is all brand new to me, and I’m excited to see where this road will take me. I couldn’t be more excited to be here at ZMac!

Ericka Cates

In the past eight years, I’ve moved 11 times all over the Midwest due to my husband’s career in the Army, but I am proudly born and raised in Racine, WI. My husband and I just celebrated our 7-year anniversary, and I am a proud Mama to a 2-year-old little boy. Prior to having my son, we unexpectedly rescued three dogs (they’re big enough to resemble small horses). I come from a very large (and crazy) family who all share the love of FOOD with me. Besides being a food enthusiast, I enjoy cooking, football season (Go Pack!), party planning, shopping, and watching reruns of Grey’s Anatomy all day (and never getting sick of it; it’s a talent, I know). I also am weirdly obsessed with financial planning, staying organized, and the real estate market. I’m honored to join to the ZMac Family and look forward to not only career growth but personal growth as well.

Evan DuQuaine

Hey, I’m Evan, the office wedding DJ! Outside of work, I am a father to an awesome 6 (going on 16-year-old) daughter, and I’m an all-around outdoorsy person. If you call me on my lunch break please forgive the river sounds, because I’m probably waist deep in the Root River trying to outsmart a trout or salmon – they usually win. When I’m traveling, and there are mountains within sight, I’m climbing or hiking them! I’ve been a contractor for the last nine years as well as a DJ in one capacity or another since I was 14, starting at the local Skatetown roller skating rink and moving up to weddings and events. I’m excited starting my career with ZMac, and not just because I can fish during my lunch break!

Elizabeth Houf

Hi I’m Elizabeth or Beth, I’ll answer to both. I really enjoy playing with my fur baby, Luna, and her fat neck. I play on a co-ed softball team with Caleb (small world moment: he dates my cousin), and I used to play a lot of golf. Traveling is one of my favorite things to do. My boyfriend Adam and I like to go on trips every year. This year we went to Cabo San Lucas. My favorite travel spot is probably Cancun, Mexico, or Clearwater, Florida. I lived in Germany for seven months as an au pair (nanny), but I don’t speak German very well. I graduated from UW-Parkside with a degree in graphic design and, I really like to sew things….like baby quilts and other random projects. Go Pack Go!

Amanda Knoke

I graduated in 2015 with a degree in Elementary Education and Speech Communications. My husband Elliott and I enjoy the outdoors and traveling. We are the proud parents of an energetic 4-month-old Yellow Lab puppy named Lucca and a 16 pound Russian Blue cat named Joey. Our ideal day is relaxing at home with our animals, watching our favorite show “The Good Doctor,” playing board games and vegging out on Girl Scout cookies. I look forward to assisting customers with their transportation needs and growing with ZMac Transportation!

Mike Muniz

I’ve been with my beautiful significant other, Monica, for 12 years and we have three wonderful children: 8-year-old Jocelyn, 3½-year-old Lorenzo, and 1½-year-old Romeo. I enjoy spending time with my ever-growing Mexican family that celebrates literally everything that gives us a reason to drink! When I can, I enjoy playing Fortnite on my PS4, and, if I could, I would be a full-time streamer because I love video games! I also enjoy sports. During the summer I play beach volleyball and golf. I’m a huge Milwaukee Bucks fan, and for the longest time, I thought I was the only one because of how bad they were. I’m also a fan of the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers.

Cory Eberhardt

I’m super excited to start my new position here at ZMac. I’m a father of 4, which keeps me very busy in my “spare time.” (What is this “spare time” you speak of?) When I’m not with the kids, you can find me on the golf course with my friends. This year, I’m trying to break 80 all the time. I’ve been playing golf now for 30 years (in high school I was the caption of the golf team). I went to college at UW-Stout in Hotel & Restaurant management, which I did for many years and eventually, I became a chef. Now, I just cook for fun for my family and friends. Over the years I found that I love working in sales and customer service a lot more than working with food. Some of the other passions of mine are watching all my Wisconsin teams: Bucks, Badgers, Brewers, and the Packers. I can’t wait to work with everyone and learn new and exciting things!

David Eck

I figured out that I could sell way back in high school. My friend’s dad had gotten into an MLM scheme (commonly known as a pyramid scheme) and ended up with 34 water filters that he couldn’t sell. He offered to split it 50/50 with me if I could sell them. By the end of the summer, I had sold all of them, made more money than any of my friends, and did not have to cut anyone’s grass or flip burgers. As they say, the rest was history.

I’m happily married to my wife Tanya with five children (ages 16-22 years old) and one grandson. I like to go to auctions and buy antiques and collectibles to sell online and at local antique booths. Last year we sold 276 collectible Barbies on Amazon and two cargo van loads of Elvis collectibles. We have antique booths at Rustic DairyLand in Kenosha, Gurnee Antique Market in Gurnee, and at various auction houses. I am thrilled to be working here at ZMac.

Scott Fox

Born and raised in Racine, I’ve been involved in some type of sales and service for the length of my career. I love talking to people and helping them. For my work, I’ve traveled all over the world, mainly in the transportation business. I have four daughters and one granddaughter: Claire (29), Miranda (23), Carly (21), and Maddie (19), and my granddaughter Payton (9). So, you can imagine when we were selecting a dog two years ago, I insisted on a boy! He’s a rescue mix of Dachshund, Basset Hound, and Retriever. We named him Indy after Indiana Jones.

In my spare time, I play drums in two bands: Identity Crisis, a 90s cover band, and We’re All Alright, a Cheap Trick tribute band. My wife and I have recently moved downtown, and we absolutely love Racine!

Travis Nienhaus

I am a Wisconsin native and a Squire (Beta Phi Epsilon) of Carthage College, making the Kenosha/Racine area like my second home. After spending the last seven years in healthcare (and the last three in Illinois), I’m happy to be home and excited to dive into something new and innovative!

I just moved to Racine with my girlfriend Leha and our two pet children; Magoo (15-year-old cat) and Akasha (2-year-old dog). We are avid crystal collectors and deal/trade crystals and gemstones for other collectors and jewelry makers as a hobby. We’re also jewelry makers ourselves. I’m a Cancer Zodiac (EQ over IQ), a Level 1 Reiki Practitioner and enjoy quiet time with my Singing Bowls and smudge sticks just as much as spending time with friends and family. Always a Social Worker, I love experiencing new people and the energies they bring to the world. Hosting Game of Thrones Feasts is one of my favorite (almost) yearly activities, especially when using the compendium cookbook, but I get along well with ALL types of food. The Moon is my Celestial Muse; I LOVE being outside, and regularly attend music festivals and the Renaissance Faire in Bristol (in FULL costume of course). Although I consider myself pretty fluid, I have to try hard to remain grounded and you’ll probably always find me with at least three stones in my pockets. They’re my tools, just ask. I’ll probably give you one…or more…many more.

Jim Selovich

I’m excited to join the ZMac Team as a Sales Executive! I’m a big sports fan who roots for Wisconsin through and through (Badgers, Bucks, Brewers, Packers) except for hockey….Go Blackhawks! I also enjoy playing golf, attending sporting events, concerts, and festivals, and anything that has to do with drinking beer.

In my spare time, I’m a performer. I was a member of ComedySportz of Milwaukee and act in local theater productions in both Racine and Kenosha. I also write, direct, produce, and perform with the Pressed Ham Players of Kenosha. A part-time radio personality on AM 1050 WLIP, I recently attended classes at Second City in Chicago for TV and Film Writing and co-wrote “Panic In The Disco Room” performed at Second City in May of 2015.

Matthew Sepanski

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, and I have over 18 years of sales experience. I currently live in Mount Pleasant with my wife and three children.

In my spare time, I enjoy watching my son play his many sports. I enjoy the Sunday grilling experience complete with cocktails. I also enjoy attending sporting events at Miller Park or Lambeau Field. During my free time, I like watching the Brewers games (wishing they had some pitching).

Lastly, I enjoy my volunteer work at St. Lucy Catholic Parish year-round. I’m able to stay busy throughout the year as the Athletic Director for the school and Chairman of the meat raffle at the festival.

Chris Summerfelt

I grew up just outside of Chicago, then moved to southeastern Wisconsin after I graduated high school. When I was younger, I had aspirations to be an animator, which, I’m sure, led to my appreciation for PC gaming. Playing video games is probably my favorite hobby in addition to watching seriously good television. My current favorite show is Rick and Morty (animation appreciation strikes again) because TWD (The Walking Dead) fell off hard for me. My favorite show of all time is harder to pin down, but maybe The Wire, I guess. My favorite guilty pleasure show is definitely Big Bang Theory. I know it gets a lot of flak, but I think it’s hilarious. I’m looking forward to growing with ZMac!

Jaden Thomas

Hi! I’m a 22-year-old music enthusiast who frequently switches between Kanye West and classical piano. I enjoy short walks to the fridge, working on cars, and a nice cup of tea. I moved to Kenosha about nine months ago, previously living in Illinois for way too long. I am originally from southern California, which may explain my relaxed demeanor. I am a proud father of two beautiful cats, Jack and Molly. As of next month, I will have been dating my beautiful girlfriend, Monica for three years. I am positivity driven and look forward to my time in this awesome company!

Jacob Ward

Hi, I’m Jacob! I come from a background of working in inside IT sales. I got married in 2015 to my wife, Abigail. I was born and raised in Racine. Here’s a fun fact: I have never lived outside of my zip code. I love watching hockey, and I’ll watch any team, but I give my allegiance to the Nashville Predators. Outside of work, I like to barbeque (electric smoker), watch Arrested Development, and lead worship at my church. Other fun facts about me: I have a cat named Daisy who’s full of “energy”, I’ve been banned from the San Diego Zoo (I don’t recommend throwing pennies at gorillas), I wanted to be a paleontologist up until I was 16, I have a strict grading scale for tacos (Santa Fe Liquor is still number one), I love Star Wars, and lastly, I enjoy things.
