We continue to recognize how what we do day-in and day-out at ZMac can make a fundamental difference in people’s lives. From natural disasters, such as Tsunami relief or Hurricane Harvey recovery to endangered species conservation, there will always be a story behind our shipments that reinforces our commitment to doing the right thing for our customers. This again was the case when we put our efforts into facilitating the transport of OD freight used to develop a clean, cost-effective, renewable energy source.

The Answer is Blowin’ in the Wind
What’s the Story Behind the Shipment?
Wind turbines. That’s the integral machine that transforms the wind into renewable energy. And to build those wind turbines, you need over-dimensional, oversized parts. That’s where we came in. We coordinated the delivery of reusable concrete template rings used for the foundation of wind turbines. Each load was 15 feet 6 inches long, 15 feet 6 inches wide, 3 feet high, and 42,000 pounds. These loads traveled to New Jersey and Florida, with their final destination in South America to help meet the demand for clean, cost-effective, renewable energy.
