There are trade shows, and then there are TRADE SHOWS. There’s no question in our minds. CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017 is a TRADE SHOW. We consider CONEXPO-CON/AGG to be the greatest international gathering of construction industries under one, very large roof. We anxiously look forward to this event on March 7-11 in Las Vegas, and this year is no different. Here are 5 reasons why we at ZMac never miss it. (And why maybe you should join us there this year.)

1. We walk and talk with our customers.

Nothing beats walking this trade show, seeing our customers in person, shaking hands, and talking a little shop (or whatever else is on your mind). With every major construction industry represented, 2,500+ exhibitors, and attendance numbers in the six figures, CONEXPO-CON/AGG gives us a great opportunity to connect with the people behind the over-dimensional freight. Maybe that’s you?

2. We see the future.

We love innovation. We love it even more when it can help us help our customers. This year’s CONEXPO-CON/AGG Tech Experience gives us the ability to gaze into the future and see the latest technologies and innovations in equipment, products, and services for the construction industry. Nearly 700 new exhibitors are laser-focused on developing the tools to be more productive and profitable. That’s right up our alley.

3. We feed our curiosity at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017.

To be a leader in over-dimensional freight logistics, you’ve got to be on the forefront of industry issues and trends, applied technology, and business strategies and tools. At ZMac, our focus on how to do our job better lays the groundwork for our company. CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017 offers a comprehensive education program with 150 industry-targeted sessions. We’ll be sharpening our pencils and taking notes at as many of these sessions as we can.

This year’s CONEXPO-CON/AGG official charitable partner is The Call of Duty™Endowment, a nonprofit group that helps veterans get back to work and attain high-quality jobs after their military service. 100% of the proceeds from CONEXPO-CON/AGG benefit auctions and concerts are going to this well-deserved cause. You’ll see us bidding at the auctions, and you’ll hear our tone-deaf voices as we belt out the lyrics to our favorite Foreigner songs at the benefit concert. (Yes, we said the rock band Foreigner. We know you remember the words to ‘Juke Box Hero.’)

5. We love Nascar.

What’s Nascar got to do with this? Uh. Everything. For one there’s a party at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, on the actual track. And two, there’s the Nascar Ultimate Experience, which is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to ride shotgun at 165MPH. Enough said.
